Welcome to EquipPastors.com

3 John 1:7-8 (NASB)

For they went out for the sake of the Name... Therefore we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers with the truth.

We are very glad you have come to our site as we believe strongly that God is raising up a new missions work in all the world. As part of Action International ministries, we are praying and asking God to raise up a generation of pastors and professors who will come alongside and support pastors throughout the world who need our help.

Why does Equip Pastors.com exist?
There is an average of 178,000 people coming to Christ daily around the world. The latest statistics indicate there are 3.2 million pastors worldwide who are untrained or under trained.  Many of these pastors have families and jobs and live on less than $40 dollars a month.  It is estimated that 7,000 new church leaders are needed daily to care for the growing church and 85% of the churches of the world are led by people who have no formal training in theology or ministry.  Leaders from every non-Western region say their number one need is leadership training*."

What does this mean?
Because the pastors lack Bible training, many pastors and churches have fallen prey to false teaching, worldly and cultural goals and methods.  We have witnessed first hand the demand that pastoring in a third world country full of suffering and heartache takes, but when you don't have the training or materials to be able to meet these demands, the results are discouraging.  Our brothers in these countries need pastors and professors to come alongside them and equip these pastors to meet the pressing needs that exist. And as anytime we minister to others, we learn more from them than we can teach them.  We need them to teach us how to persevere under trial and how to live by faith.

What can we do to meet the needs that exist?
We are glad you asked...  Click here to get to know us and what we can do help our brothers all over the world.
