Adopt a Pastor
The pastors of Cambodia are in desperate need of people who will walk hand in hand with them in ministry. We are currently coming alongside five pastors helping them with resources, personal support and continuing education.

Church Based Livelihood/Sustenance Project
One of the primary challenges for church planting in Cambodia is making sure that the new church will have long term viability. Funds are needed that would support two models for long term viability for the church.

Sponsorships for Bible College Students
Selected students from Shalom Churches are attending Bible College here in Cambodia. These students will be the future leaders of the Cambodian church. Students participate in classes here in Phnom Penh and then do their practicum ministry under the supervision of the leadership at Shalom Church, Phnom Penh. Currently four students are in need of sponsorship.

Pastoral Resource Development
The pastors of Cambodia are in desperate need of solid resources for their congregations and for their personal use. The very first single volume commentary of the entire Bible is ready for production but needs resources. We would like to put a copy in the hands of every pastor of Cambodia.

Bible Distribution
While copies of the Khmer Bible are readily available, they remain economically out of reach for most people (equivalent to two days wages for most people). Bibles are made available for distribution through the Shalom Churches of Cambodia and through the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia.
Total cost for this project is $9,000 (3,000 Bibles at $3.00 per copy).

CROATIA
Student Book and Scholarship Fund
The Student Book and Scholarship Fund will assist approximately 10 extremely poor students training to become Bible school teachers.
Total cost for this project is $20,000 ($1500 - $2000 per student).

ECUADOR
Quechua Seminary Construction
Help is needed for construction of a seminary for Quechua Indians living in the jungle of Ecuador, ($50,000) This would complete the dining room, kitchen, bathrooms and dormitory for 20 students.

HONDURAS
Honduras BookShare
The pastors who serve the North coast of Honduras in the region of the hospital near Balfate have limited education and few resources. Individual pastors and the Loma de Luz Hospital library need Bibles, Biblical commentaries, discipleship manuals, counseling materials, and children's educational materials.

THE PHILIPPINES
The Philippines BookShare
In the Philippines, ACTION's Pastoral Leadership Development ministry is trying to assist many of the 41,000 untrained pastors. Many of these pastors make less than $20 monthly and, therefore, have no funds to purchase study Bibles and books to help them in their ministry of preaching and teaching the Word of God.
ACTION regularly prints sets of books that are distributed to needy pastors. Following is information on the latest book set: We are presently planning to publish a set of four books for 1300 pastors. The set is valued at over $30, but we are able to publish it for only $5.50. This is good news, but we will need a total of US$7150 (1300 sets x $5.50). This is a large amount for us.
